Last week went so fast, I never had a second to search for someone special to showcase, but today I found Richard Barnes. His work is such visual poetry. I adore his Animal Logic series - I have been trying to get access to the Museum for a while, but have not been successfull so far. I love looking behind the scenes and how everything comes to live. Here are a couple of images from his Murmur series.

Dream like
I seem to have a million bookmarks, and whilst I try to keep them organised, I often "loose" links or forget full stop where I put them or what I discovered in the first place. So I cant really tell you when I first came across Roger Ballen. I think it might have been in a book shop, but as I couldn't afford the book, I looked him up as I was intrigued by his richly textured photographs. I am so glad I found him again. After researching him more today I came across a great interview on lensculture. Enjoy.

Private Moon
I would like to share some amazing images I found today via photospion. Leonid Tishkov (artist) and Boris Bendikov (photographer) are two Russian artists, who joined forces to create this unique project called “Private Moon”. You can find a few more photos here.
No photoshop was used for these shots, which is very important to me, as I like the idea that we all could have our own private moon.

Butterflies of a brief summer
where ever one looks
stories appear,
in languages never imagined
listening to the rustle
of the leaves,
on a blue of an afternoon
counting butterflies
and dream of forever.
